Opel Built An Electric SUV That Might Make Hot Hatches Nervous
  • Opel has revealed the Mokka GSE, its fastest and most aggressive electric model to date.
  • The small SUV features sporty bumpers, yellow brake calipers, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
  • A 278 hp motor drives the front wheels, aided by a bespoke chassis and suspension setup.

Small electric performance cars are picking up speed, and in Europe, Stellantis has quietly assembled a diverse lineup across its brands. Among them are the Abarth 600e, the Alfa Romeo Junior Veloce, the Lancia Ypsilon HF, and the upcoming Peugeot 208 GTI. Now Opel is joining the mix with a sportier take on the Mokka.

This electric variant kicks off Opel’s revamped GSE sub-brand with sharper styling and performance upgrades.

The fastest electric Opel (Vauxhall in the UK) model to date looks more aggressive than the regular Mokka, taking inspiration by the GSE Rally prototype that debuted last May. Black inserts in the front and rear bumpers emphasize the air intakes, and GSE badging on the grille and side panels signals its performance focus. The standout, however, is the set of 20-inch alloy wheels with a clean, aerodynamic design and bright yellow brake calipers, which look especially large on a compact SUV.

Inside the cabin, the upgrades continue. The front seats are trimmed in Alcantara and shaped for extra support, matched by similarly finished door inserts. A reshaped steering wheel, aluminum pedals, and white and yellow accents help differentiate the GSE from its tamer siblings. The dual 10-inch screens in the digital cockpit now include performance-focused graphics unique to this model, providing real-time data while driving.

Performance Matches Rivals

Power comes from a single electric motor producing 278 horsepower (207 kW or 280 PS) and 345 Nm (254.5 lb-ft) of torque. These figures are in line with the top-spec versions of the Abarth and Alfa Romeo counterparts, as well as the earlier GSE Rally concept. The front wheels handle all that power with the help of a Torsen limited-slip differential.

Opel claims the Mokka GSE can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 5.9 seconds, while its top speed is capped at 200 km/h (124 mph. This makes the Mokka GSE quicker than the more powerful but heavier Grandland Electric AWD.

}
});

Besides having almost double the power of the standard Mokka Electric, the GSE features a unique chassis setup. The suspension has been lowered by 10 mm and includes dual hydraulic shock absorbers for better damping. The rear axle is stiffer, the steering has been retuned, and stopping power comes from Alcon brakes with 380 mm discs and four-piston calipers.

The Mokka GSE uses the same 54 kWh lithium-ion battery pack found in the regular Mokka Electric. However, due to the performance enhancements and extra hardware, the WLTP range is expected to fall short of the standard model’s 406 km (252 miles). Even so, the GSE keeps its weight under 1,600 kg (3,527 pounds), which is not bad for a fully electric crossover with this level of performance.

Details about the market launch and the pricing of the Opel Mokka GSE in Europe will be announced in the coming months. The model will also be available in the UK, albeit with Vauxhall emblems.

Acura Finally Gave The Integra What It Needed All Along And It Wasn’t Power
  • Acura has introduced the 2026 Integra, which features revised styling and additional equipment.
  • The updates include a larger 9-inch display and a newly standard wireless smartphone charger.
  • Customers are also offered new color options, a new grille, and a revamped A-Spec body kit.

The Acura Integra returned in 2022 as a Civic-based liftback that blended practicality with luxury. It’s been well-received by customers, and Americans snapped up 24,398 of these last year. That meant the model outsold the larger TLX by over 3-to-1. The Integra also easily surpassed its predecessor, as only 14,685 ILXs were sold in 2019.

var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:[]};

} else {
adpushup.triggerAd(“82503191-e1d1-435a-874f-9c78a2a54a2f”);
}
});

To keep that momentum going, the company unveiled the 2026 Integra with an updated design, an improved cabin, and an impressive list of standard equipment.

New Colors And Not Much Else

Set to arrive at dealerships next month, the 2026 Integra is instantly recognizable as this isn’t a facelift. Instead, it’s a model year update that sees three new color options, including Solar Silver Metallic, Urban Gray Pearl, and Double Apex Blue Pearl. Models painted in Double Apex Blue Pearl or Performance Red Pearl get a new body-color grille, which is also available as an option on cars wearing Platinum White Pearl or Urban Gray Pearl.

Paint aside, the Integra A-Spec rides on new 18-inch wheels with a black finish. The model also gets a lightly revised body kit, which includes sportier side skirts and splitter-like accents on the front bumper.

A Nicer Interior

More meaningful changes occur inside as the 7-inch infotainment system gives way to a larger 9-inch display. While it’s still on the small side, Acura noted the system has a faster processor for lag-free performance. Buyers will also be happy to find newly standard wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which used to be limited to higher-end variants.

Additional changes are limited, but there’s a new pattern on the dashboard trim. More importantly, a wireless smartphone charger is now standard, as you’d expect from a luxury brand.

}
});

The mid-level Integra A-Spec gains extended ambient lighting as well as a more colorful cabin. Models equipped with an Orchid interior get new blue microsuede inserts, while those with an Ebony interior have new yellow stitching on the seats, steering wheel, shifter, and door panels.

Well-Equipped And Packing 200 HP

The Integra comes nicely equipped with heated leatherette front seats offering eight-way power adjustment on the driver’s side. Other highlights include a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, an eight-speaker audio system, and the AcuraWatch suite of driver assistance systems. The latter includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, Road Departure Mitigation, Traffic Sign Recognition, and a Collision Mitigation Braking System.

Since this is a small update, power continues to be provided by a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 200 hp (149 kW / 203 PS) and 192 lb-ft (260 Nm) of torque. The four-cylinder is connected to a continuously variable transmission, although a six-speed manual is also available. The latter is a segment-exclusive feature and sports automatic rev matching. Acura also throws in a limited-slip differential on manual models.

});

The 2026 Acura Integra will be built in Marysville, Ohio, and pricing will be announced closer to launch. However, due to the additional equipment, we can expect the model to cost more than its predecessor, which began at $33,000 before a $1,195 destination fee.

New Electric Isuzu Pickup Comes With A Shocking Price Tag
  • The zero-emission version of the Isuzu D-Max delivers 188 hp from dual e-motors.
  • It is fitted with a 66.9 kWh battery pack, offering a claimed WLTP range of 163 miles.
  • The EV starts at £59,995 ($80,800), while the cheapest diesel costs £27,755 ($37,400).

Update: Isuzu has confirmed pricing for the upcoming D-Max EV in the UK, ahead of the model’s first customer deliveries scheduled for February 2026. The story has been updated to reflect the latest information, including newly released details on pricing, availability, and key specifications.

Isuzu is stepping into the electric pickup game with a familiar face and a new heart. The company has officially unveiled the production version of its fully electric D-Max pickup, which is set to hit European roads in early 2026.

While the exterior sticks closely to what buyers already know, underneath it promises a zero-emission alternative without sacrificing the rugged practicality the D-Max is known for. Fleets and private buyers looking to ditch diesel but keep their payloads will likely want to take a closer look.

Described as “the first production electric pickup in Europe to deliver full commercial capabilities,” the Isuzu D-Max EV will face off against rivals like the upcoming electric version of the next-generation Toyota Hilux.

Visually, there is little to separate the EV from its internal combustion siblings. Unlike the concept version shown last year, the production D-Max EV skips the closed-off grille treatment. Instead, exterior changes are subtle, limited mostly to EV-specific badging, blue accents, and the absence of tailpipes. The charging port has been tucked into the same spot where the fuel cap normally lives, maintaining a familiar layout for users.

The electric pickup offers the option between two high-spec trims (eDL40 and eV-Cross), with buyers able to choose between Extended Cab and Double Cab body styles. The color palette includes the standard Splash White, and the optional Mercury Silver Metallic, Obsidian Grey Mica, Onyx Black Mica, and Biarritz Blue Metallic, with a Dolomite White Pearl exclusive to the range-topping V-Cross trim.

For its debut, Isuzu dressed the D-Max EV in a one-off Norwegian Blue paint job, paired with black accents and matching 18-inch alloy wheels.

Dual Electric Motors And 4WD

The D-Max EV runs on dual electric motors that generate a combined 188 hp (140 kW / 190 PS) and 325 Nm (240 lb-ft) of torque. That means it offers 27 hp (20 kW) more power than the diesel version, though it gives up 35 Nm (26 lb-ft) of torque in the trade. Power is delivered to all four wheels through a full-time four-wheel-drive system, with the Rough Terrain Mode feature carried over from the diesel model.

Performance figures include a 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) sprint in 10.1 seconds and a top speed that nudges just over 80 mph (129 km/h). More importantly for truck buyers, the electric D-Max maintains serious working credentials, boasting a payload capacity of over 1,000 kg (2,205 lbs) and a towing capacity of 3.5 tonnes (7,716 lbs), which are on par with diesel midsize pickups. Off-road figures are equally robust, with a 600 mm (23.6 inch) wading depth and 210 mm (8.3 inch) of ground clearance.

Battery and Charging Details

A 66.9 kWh lithium-ion battery provides a WLTP-rated range of 263 km (163 miles). This figure might seem modest compared to smaller EVs, but it is in line with expectations for a midsize pickup carrying extra weight and size. Fast charging at up to 50 kW DC allows the battery to go from 20 to 80 percent charge in about one hour. Isuzu backs the battery with an 8-year or 100,000-mile (160,900 km) warranty.

The fully electric truck rides on a modified version of the ladder frame chassis found in the regular Isuzu D-Max. However, the rear suspension features a De-Dion setup instead of leaf springs, contributing to a more refined ride.

Pricing And Availability

The global debut of the D-Max EV took place at the 2025 Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham on April 29. UK pre-sales began on July 21, with first deliveries expected in February 2026.

Pricing starts at £59,995 ($80,800) before VAT, which is significantly higher than the £27,755 ($37,400) base price of the diesel D-Max. A more direct comparison, though, is with matching trims. In that case, the electric DL40 and V-Cross versions are £24,240 ($32,700) more expensive than their diesel counterparts. Interestingly, even the heavily modified AT35 model by Arctic Trucks undercuts the electric variant.

This New Toyota SUV Looks Familiar Until You See The Front
  • Corolla Cross and Frontlander twins are preparing to receive updated facelifts in China.
  • GAC’s Frontlander adopts a unique front-end design with a body-colored closed-off grille.
  • Both models will retain existing 2.0L gasoline and self-charging hybrid powertrain options.

Compact SUVs have become the bread and butter of global lineups, and few exemplify that better than the Toyota Corolla Cross. Built to suit a broad range of markets, it also faces a unique challenge in China, where regulations require foreign automakers to sell locally-made variants through separate joint ventures.

var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:[]};

That’s how the Frontlander came to be, a and is essentially a Corolla Cross sibling exclusive to GAC Toyota. Now, both models are preparing to launch facelifted versions, bringing updated styling and familiar powertrains.

More: Even Toyota Thinks Their Small SUV Looks Too Boring

In China, the Corolla Cross is manufactured by FAW Toyota, while the Frontlander is assembled byGAC Toyota. Both refreshed versions have surfaced early, thanks to filings with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, offering a preview ahead of their official market debuts.

Styling Tweaks

While FAW’s Corolla Cross inherits the styling from the recently facelifted global-spec model, GAC’s Frontlander has its identity up front. The sharp nose looks similar to the GR Sport trim of the crossover, which is available in Europe and Japan, but the lower portion of the bumper swaps the massive grille for an EV-inspired design. A body-colored insert enhances aerodynamics, leaving just a small opening for the cooling intakes. This is paired with a prominent lower section finished with glossy trim accents.

The LEDs look identical to those found in higher-spec Corolla Cross trims in other markets, although entry-level models are treated with carry-over headlights. The rest of the bodywork appears to be identical to the outgoing Frontlander. We don’t have photos of the interior yet, but it safe to assume that it will gain an updated digital cockpit.

The facelifted Toyota Frontlander (above) from MIIT compared to the outgoing version (below).

The Frontlander measures 4,490 mm (176.8 inches) long, 1,825 mm (71.8 inches) wide and 1,625 mm (64 inches) tall, with a wheelbase of 2,640 mm (103.9 inches). These measurements are identical to the facelifted Corolla Cross, which means the new SUV havs gained 5 mm (0.2 inches) compared to the pre-facelift version.

Carryover Engines, Hybrid Still in the Mix

As with its predecessor, the compact model will be available with gasoline and self-charging hybrid powertrain options. The non-electrified 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine delivers 169 hp (126 kW / 171 PS), moving the front wheels through a CVT. The hybrid combines a 2.0-liter gasoline engine (156 hp) with a 111 hp electric motor and a ternary lithium-ion battery, routed through an E-CVT to the front wheels.

Toyota hasn’t announced a release date yet, but the updated Frontlander is expected to arrive in showrooms soon. Current models are already being discounted, with the outgoing gasoline version starting at ¥89,800 ($12,500) and the hybrid at ¥111,800 ($15,600), suggesting that the facelifted models are just around the corner.

The Corolla Cross was originally launched in 2020 and has since grown into one of Toyota’s most successful models. In 2024, it ranked as the world’s third best-selling vehicle with 859,000 units sold, marking an 18 percent increase over 2023. That places it ahead of the Corolla sedan and hatchback, though it still trails the larger RAV4, which continues to lead global sales.

  • Lexus has discontinued the LC 500h hybrid for 2026.
  • The company has also introduced a new Inspiration Series.
  • Pricing starts at $101,700 and the car arrives this fall.

The Lexus LC was rumored to be living on borrowed time, but it’s returning for 2026 with a handful of changes. The biggest development is the elimination of the hybrid powertrain.

var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:[]};
adpushup.que.push(function() {

});

As you may recall, the LC 500h featured a 3.5-liter V6 engine, two electric motors, and a small lithium-ion battery pack. This enabled the model to produce a combined output of 354 hp (264 kW / 359 PS). Despite the modest horsepower rating, the coupe could accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.7 seconds, hit a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h), and return 26 mpg city, 33 mpg highway, and 29 mpg combined.

More: Lexus Kills Off The RC And RC F Coupes After 11 Years

To put those numbers into perspective, the LC 500 has a glorious 5.0-liter V8 developing 471 hp (351 kW / 478 PS) and 398 lb-ft (539 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a ten-speed automatic transmission, which allows the model to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 168 mph (270 km/h). Those are notable improvements over the hybrid, but the V8 only returns 16 mpg city, 24 mpg highway, and 18 mpg combined.

The other big news is the return of the Inspiration Series, which will be offered in limited numbers. The coupe features a Smoke Matte Gray exterior with a carbon fiber roof and 21-inch forged alloy wheels with a matte black finish. They’re joined by black accents, tinted lighting units, canards, and a carbon fiber rear wing. The model also has red brake calipers and active rear steering.

 Lexus Just Killed Its Hybrid Coupe For Guilt Free V8 Thrills

The black and white interior comes equipped with sport seats, special sill plates, and a serialized badge on the center console. Buyers will also find a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, and a Mark Levinson premium audio system.

Only 200 Inspiration Series coupes will be offered in North America, but they’ll be joined by 350 Inspiration Series roadsters. The drop top version follows in the footsteps of the coupe, but features a Wind exterior with a brown and silver soft top. They’re joined by a limited slip differential and a Climate Concierge system with upper body heating.

The LC 500 Coupe and Convertible are expected to arrive at US dealerships this fall. Pricing starts at $101,700 and climbs to $109,200 for the convertible, both including a $1,450 destination fee.

These additions will effectively triple Subaru’s EV lineup in the region, which until now has consisted solely of the Solterra. All three vehicles are built on the e-Subaru Global Platform, Subaru’s take on Toyota’s e-TNGA electric architecture.

The Subaru Uncharted

Leading the charge is the Uncharted, Subaru’s spin on the Toyota C-HR+. The crossover stands out with a Subaru-specific front end that borrows elements from the updated Solterra, including its headlight design and sculpted bumper. Rugged alloy wheels round out the exterior changes. Inside, the Uncharted gets a squared steering wheel and slightly different interior trims, while sharing features like the 14-inch infotainment display and dual wireless chargers with its Toyota twin.

Buyers can choose between front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations, both of which offer respectable performance. Power peaks at 338 hp (252 kW / 344 PS), and the entry-level variant uses a 57.7 kWh battery rated for 276 miles (444 km) of range. A larger 77 kWh option boosts range to 363 miles (584 km) for FWD models and 292 miles (470 km) with AWD.

The Solterra Returns, Sharper and Stronger

Moving on to a more familiar member of Subaru’s EV lineup, the Solterra is back with fresh styling, more tech, and upgraded underpinnings. The dual electric motors generate 338 hp (252 kW / 343 PS), representing a healthy increase of 123 hp (92 kW) compared to the original version that debuted in 2022. Furthermore, a larger 73.1 kWh battery pack delivers over 310 miles (500 km) of range between charges.

More: Subaru Trailseeker EV Is Faster Than A WRX STI But No One Knows If It’s A Wagon Or SUV

The styling updates are focused on the front end, with slimmer LEDs and a cleaner design for the bumper. The EU-spec Solterra was shown with glossy black fenders, so it is not clear if higher trim levels will feature the body-colored finish seen in the North American model. The EV also benefits from a new 14-inch infotainment display and improved ADAS.

Meet the E-Outback: Subaru’s Biggest EV Yet

Last but not least, the Subaru E-Outback is the European twin of the Subaru Trailseeker and the Toyota bZ Woodland. It is longer and more spacious than the Solterra, with a boot that is large enough for four suitcases. Subaru shared a single photo of the Trailseeker, so we guess that the E-Outback will look identical, minus the amber indicators.

} else {
adpushup.triggerAd(“e46c436a-adeb-4b5e-a2c7-56bc36561c10”);
}
});

Performance takes another step up here. The E-Outback is powered by a dual-motor setup producing 377 hp (280 kW / 380 PS), paired with a 74.7 kWh battery that delivers 279 miles (447 km) of range. Designed with adventure in mind, it includes Subaru’s Symmetrical AWD, X-Mode terrain management, and 210 mm (8.3 inches) of ground clearance. It also matches the Solterra’s towing capacity at 1,500 kg (3,307 pounds).

Rollout Timeline

The facelifted Subaru Solterra will be the first to reach European dealers by the end of 2025. The Uncharted and E-Outback will follow in early 2026. Subaru plans to announce pricing details closer to each model’s launch.

Faraday Turned A Chinese Minivan Into A Rolling Mansion With A Talking Grille
  • The FX Super One by Faraday Future is an electrified minivan that harnesses AI technology.
  • It is based on a Chinese model but gets unique tech features including the F.A.C.E system.
  • The goal is to steal buyers from full-size SUVs, offering a BEV and EREV powertrain options.

In an EV market overflowing with hype and hopeful startups, Faraday Future is still angling for the spotlight, even if it’s usually more about keeping the lights on than reinventing the wheel. The company may have only delivered 16 units of its FF 91 since 2023, but with fresh funding in hand and eyes still set on redefining mobility, it’s now turning attention to a new concept: a tech-laden minivan aimed at the mass market.

}
});

Backed by $105 million in newly secured funding, the electric vehicle startup has introduced the FX Super One, a minivan that leans heavily into AI integration and digital innovation.

The new model debuted during a special event at Faraday Future’s headquarters in California. It’s pitched as an “affordable mass market MPV,” designed to offer a roomy, thoughtfully constructed interior with premium materials and a wide array of advanced features.

Built on Chinese Bones

Instead of being a clean-sheet design, the FX Super One is actually based on the Wey Gaoshan minivan by the Chinese automaker Great Wall Motors. . Despite those shared underpinnings, the FX Super One comes with several Faraday-specific updates: a refreshed front-end design, black trim, 20-inch alloy wheels, and, perhaps most notably, a new AI-powered digital grille.

This grille houses what the company calls the Front AI Communication Ecosystem, or F.A.C.E., a system that goes beyond displaying emojis or motivational messages. When the vehicle is parked, F.A.C.E. can interact with passengers through voice recognition, visual cues, and even reactive communication, offering something akin to a conversational co-pilot. For those who prefer a more conventional look, a traditional grille will also be offered.

At the core of all this interactivity is Faraday Future’s proprietary EAI Embodied Intelligence AI Agent 6×4 Architecture. This system manages everything from the digital grille to infotainment controls, voice-command features, and the vehicle’s suite of advanced driver assistance systems.

}
});

Tech, Comfort, and Customization

Moving to the interior, the FX Super One will be offered in four-, six-, or seven-seat configurations across two or three rows. The four-seat version, called the GOAT Edition, adds several luxury upgrades, including a retractable panoramic display, Dolby Atmos sound system, and Faraday’s upgraded Super AP platform. Comfort gets particular attention here, with zero-gravity seating and leather-like materials designed for long-haul relaxation.

Under the surface, the minivan uses a high-strength steel frame that likely traces back to the Wey Gaoshan, though it’s been adapted to Faraday’s electric-first approach. Initially, the FX Super One will launch with a fully electric powertrain featuring dual electric motors and standard all-wheel drive. Later, it will be joined by what Faraday calls an “AI Hybrid Extended Range” variant, which appears to follow the extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) formula.

Gunning For The Escalade

var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:[]};
adpushup.que.push(function() {
if (adpushup.config.platform !== “DESKTOP”){
adpushup.triggerAd(“b25ecba7-3bbb-4ea7-a3a8-dbea91695c07”);
} else {
adpushup.triggerAd(“e46c436a-adeb-4b5e-a2c7-56bc36561c10”);
}
});

The stretched version of its minivan twin from Great Wall measures 5,405 mm (212.8 inches) long, and has a wheelbase of 3,275 mm (128.9 inches). That puts it right against full-size SUVs including the Cadillac Escalade which was mentioned as a key rival, even though it has “less interior room, no sliding doors, and no AI integration”.

The target audience of the FX Super One includes celebrities and starts, visionaries and hard-working professional, but also regular family users. Among the user experience scenarios highlighted in the presentation is a star’s visit to a red carpet, a mobile livestream studio, a vehicle for elite athletes, a mobile AI office or private clubhouse, a golfer’s car, a mobile mansion, and a glamper’s car.

If everything goes according to plan, and that’s a big if, the FX Super One will roll out in early 2026. The model will be assembled at the Faraday Future plant in Hanford, California, allegedly using 50% locally-sourced parts. Faraday Future didn’t reveal pricing but is already accepting pre-orders for a refundable deposit of $100.

The FX Super One is not the only new model coming by Faraday Future. The company has announced the FX 4 which is believed to be an affordable Tesla Model Y competitor, the FX 5 large-space sporty AIEV, and the FX 6 large family vehicle.

Subaru Built A 338hp AWD EV That Launches Like A Hot Hatch On Caffeine
  • Subaru’s new Uncharted EV is smaller and more rugged than the Solterra crossover.
  • Three versions are available including Subaru’s first front-wheel drive model in years.
  • Cabin shares layout with the Toyota C-HR and includes a 14-inch touchscreen display.

It’s rare for Subaru to introduce an entirely new model lineup in the U.S., but that’s exactly what’s happening with the arrival of the Uncharted. As expected, it’s essentially Subaru’s take on the electric Toyota C-HR, with a design and feature set that leans more rugged than the Solterra, all in a more compact package.

The Uncharted rides on Toyota’s e-TNGA platform and is powered by a 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery across all variants. Subaru has confirmed three versions for the American market: the Premium FWD, Sport, and GT. The base model is notable for being the first front-wheel drive vehicle Subaru has offered in years. In contrast, both the Sport and GT feature the company’s signature Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system with X-Mode.

A Front-Drive Subaru

The front-wheel drive model will pack 221 hp and, according to Subaru, should be able to travel over 300 miles (492 km) on a charge. Interestingly, the carmaker says it will only be sold in “limited quantities,” so it’s unlikely to be a member of the Uncharted family for long. Considering the EV’s rugged appeal, it’s likely that most buyers will prefer the all-wheel drive Sport and GT models anyway.

The AWD Models

The AWD Sport and GT models step things up with 338 horsepower and an estimated range of up to 290 miles (467 km). They can also reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in a remarkable 5.0 seconds, making them quicker than the previous WRX STI and the current WRX TR, which take 5.6 seconds to hit the same mark.

According to the brand, the Uncharted offers “impressive straight-line stability, handling, and grip on loose surfaces such as gravel, dirt, or snow.” Fittingly, it looks a little more trail-ready than the C-HR, sporting more rugged front and rear bumpers, as well as new headlights and taillights. Customers will be able to order the Uncharted with either 18- or 20-inch wheels. There are also low-profile roof rails.

Charging and Tech Details

All Uncharted models come standard with a NACS charging port. They support peak DC charging speeds of 150 kW, while an 11 kW onboard charger has been added for convenient AC home charging. Subaru notes that the EV also includes a battery preconditioning system and that the battery can be charged from 10-80 percent in 30 minutes.

A Familiar Cabin

The Uncharted’s interior is mostly the same as what you’ll find in the C-HR. That means there’s a large 14-inch infotainment screen, a digital gauge cluster, and a horrendously ugly steering wheel. Key standard features of the Sport include a heated steering wheel, water-repellent upholstery, and a panoramic view monitor. The GT adds a panoramic moonroof, ventilated front seats, a smart rearview mirror, and a Harman Kardon audio system.

}
});

Subaru has not announced pricing details for the Uncharted, but it’s reasonable to assume that the front-wheel drive model will start somewhere in the low-to-mid $30,000s.

Forget The Cadillac XT6, This Is GM’s Fanciest Crossover
  • GMC has introduced the 2026 Acadia Denali Ultimate as their flagship crossover.
  • It features a lightly revised exterior with a Vader Chrome grille and 22-inch wheels.
  • The interior has Woodland Mahogany leather seats and laser-etched wood trim.

The Denali sub-brand has been a huge success for GMC as over 30% of customers opt for the range-topping trim. This enthusiasm pushed the brand to introduce an even more exclusive Denali Ultimate.

var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:[]};
adpushup.que.push(function() {
if (adpushup.config.platform !== “DESKTOP”){
adpushup.triggerAd(“0f7e3106-c4d6-4db4-8135-c508879a76f8”);
} else {
adpushup.triggerAd(“82503191-e1d1-435a-874f-9c78a2a54a2f”);
}
});

A staple of the Sierra 1500 and Yukon, the Denali Ultimate trim is now expanding to the Acadia for 2026. It builds on the regular Denali, but is distinguished by a unique exterior with a Vader Chrome grille and 22-inch aluminum wheels sporting an After Midnight metallic finish. Buyers will also find special badging, a Vader Chrome GMC logo, and LED daytime running lamps with an animated lighting sequence.

First Look: Redesigned GMC Acadia Goes Big On Luxury And Offers Lifted AT4 Trim

While the exterior is a little subdued, the interior looks fantastic thanks to Woodland Mahogany leather front seats with topographical accents and plaited contrast stitching. They’re joined by black accents and prominent Ultimate badging on the backrests. Needless to say, the seats are also heated, ventilated, and offer a massage function.

The topographical accents extend to the laser-etched Paldao wood trim and door panels. Customers will also find unique floor mats, a panoramic sunroof, and a 16-speaker Bose premium audio system. They’re joined by Super Cruise, an 8-inch head-up display, a power liftgate, and a performance suspension that delivers an “exceptional ride and handling balance.”

GMC didn’t mention powertrain details, so the model likely has a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 328 hp (245 kW / 333 PS) and 326 lb-ft (442 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission, which can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive system.

Besides the new Denali Ultimate, the 2026 GMC Acadia now comes standard with a rear camera mirror. It enables drivers to easily switch between a traditional rearview mirror and a digital one.

The 2026 Acadia will arrive at dealerships in the third quarter, while the Denali Ultimate will follow later this year. There’s no word on pricing, but we can likely expect a small increase over the current base price of $43,000 before a $1,495 destination fee.

You’ve Never Been Spoiled Like This In A Lexus Back Seat Before
  • Lexus has updated the LM500h in Japan, improving the experience for the rear passengers.
  • The four-seater version gains brighter interior lights, a small tray, and a relocated door switch.
  • Luxury minivan also benefits from extra insulation, reducing noise and vibrations inside the cabin.

Even the most luxurious vehicles have room to grow, and that includes the Lexus LM, a high-end minivan known for blending premium comfort with practicality, though it has never been offered in the States. Now, Lexus has rolled out a lightly updated version of the LM500h in Japan, aimed squarely at improving passenger comfort and day-to-day usability.

var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:[]};
adpushup.que.push(function() {
if (adpushup.config.platform !== “DESKTOP”){

}
});

Don’t bother to look for any visual updates on the exterior, as the second-generation LM retains the original design introduced in 2023. Instead, Lexus has turned its attention inward, refining the cabin with small but thoughtful updates that make a noticeable difference for those in the back seats.

Quieter, Smarter, More Convenient

One of the key upgrades is a quieter ride. Additional vibration-damping and sound-absorbing materials have been added around the rear wheel arches and tailgate area, cutting down on ambient noise and creating a more serene interior.

In the four-seat Executive trim, Lexus has also made a practical tweak: the power sliding door switch has been moved from the ceiling to the center console between the rear seats. This simple change means passengers no longer have to reach up or stand to operate the doors.

The center console now also features a small tray designed for smartphones and personal items. On top of that, a new overhead light has been added to illuminate the floor near the rear doors, making it easier to step in and out of the cabin at night.

Subtle Enhancements Across the Range

var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:[]};
adpushup.que.push(function() {
if (adpushup.config.platform !== “DESKTOP”){
adpushup.triggerAd(“bb7964e9-07de-4b06-a83e-ead35079d53c”);
} else {
adpushup.triggerAd(“9b1169d9-7a89-4971-a77f-1397f7588751”);
}
});

Both the four-seater Executive and the entry-level six-seater Version L trims gain brighter interior lights, creating a more pleasant atmosphere. Still, if you feel like the new setting is a bit too much, you can always adjust the brightness according to your liking.

There are no changes to the hybrid powertrain of the LM500h, which has a combined output of 366 hp (273 kW / 371 PS) from a 2.4-liter turbo engine and dual electric motors. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission.

}
});

Orders for the updated LM500h open in Japan on August 1. Pricing for the six-seat Version L remains unchanged at ¥15,000,000 (around $101,000), while the Executive trim sees a slight increase, now starting at ¥20,000,000 (approximately $134,700), up ¥100,000 ($673) from before. Similar updates are likely to make their way to other markets in the near future.
